Shanthilekha, employee of ANCL (Lake House), stationed at Kataragama Branch Office, is severely ill and have undergone several surgeries without success and presently warded at the Cancer Hospital, Maharagama undergoing treatment. It is said that large sums of money will have to be raised for her treatments and the Doctor treating her advised her to have several injections for months, and it costs over Rs. 42,000 for doses per month.
