Rohitha transferred to general ward

[June 26 2016]

UPFA Kalutara District Parliamentarian Rohitha Abeygunawardena who was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in Colombo on Friday (June 24) due to injuries sustained during a Joint Opposition's protest held in Colombo Fort was transferred to a general ward on Saturday (June 25) apparently due to his condition not being serious.

STF finds arms cache, Fonseka’s posters at temple

The Special Task Force personnel recovered 54 hand grenades and two T-56 rifles from a temple in Colombo yesterday. Military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara confirmed that the grenades and assault rifles were recovered from Bodhirajarama Temple in Maligawatte last evening.
