SLNS Samudura to take part in Naval Exercise ‘Aman’

The Navy’s Offshore Patrol Vessel, SLNS Samudura left for Pakistan from the Port of Colombo last evening to take part in the Naval Exercise ‘Aman’ in Pakistan. The ship is due to arrive at the Port of Karachchi on February 9. The crew of Samudura comprise 186 Naval personnel and eight Maldivian National Defence Force personnel.

The exercise will be held from February 10-14 in Karachchi with the attendance of the navies of 21 countries. The exercise will also encompass a wide variety of naval exercises and activities.
