The Hobbit or There and Back Again by J.R.R Tolkien is my favourite book. The book has sold millions of copies worldwide and it has been translated into many languages since its publication in 1937 by George Allen & Unwin in Great Britain.

The story revolves around a young hobbit named Bilbo Baggins who had an adventure with Gandalf the Wizard and Thorin Oakenshield, and his company of thirteen dwarves, who raid the treasure hoard of Smaug the Magnificent, a great and mighty dragon while also facing greater problems which make the book really fantastic.

The book is loved by children of many generations. The book was also adapted into a movie series. The book tells us the qualities of teamwork, unity, courage and friendship. The book is one of most influential books of the twentieth century.
