A Tale of Two Cities is a captivating historical novel by Charles Dickens. It captures the sensitive nuances of the French Revolution in the cities of London and Paris. The main character in this book is Lucie Manette. Through the novel we can gain knowledge about Lucie Manette. She is a young women who travels from England to Saint Antoine in France to find her father who has been released from prison. Charles Dickens explores and comments on a whole range of issues like patriotism, justice, rebellion, awakening, resurgence, love and hatred. So, this is a very interesting book.
