Jane Eyre is a novel which takes us into the English Society before the Industrial Revolution. It’s a classic novel written by Charlotte Bronte (1816 – 1855) and one of the most famous Victorian novels. It was first published in 1847 and the author’s name was mentioned as Currer Bell. The story is about an orphan named Jane Eyre - a girl who spent her childhood at Gateshead Hall and Lowood school, and how she achieved success through so many difficulties she had in her life.

There’s an opinion that through the story, the author has managed to project much of her own character and experience. Jane Eyre is an excellent creation endowed to English literature, and its read widely throughout the world although it was written more than a century ago. I love this story very much because it consists of love, morality, a search for self, sacrifice and happiness.
