There were two changes at the top in division 1 and division 2 as another Peterite took over the lead from Lakshina Rodrigo with a majority of 87 votes, and Piyumal Sinhawansa of St. Anne’s College, Kurunegala ousted Raveen Yasas of Devapathiraja College Ratgama in the division two category to take the top spot at the end of of the 5th week count of the Sunday Observer/ Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The year Contest 2017.
