World Men’s rugby 7’s series qualifiers in Hong Kong : Shameful performance by Lankans, go down to Namibia

Namibia thrashed Sri Lanka Men’s rugby team by 26 points (4 tries, 3 conversions) to 14 (2 tries, 2 conversions) at the world rugby 7’s series qualifiers in Hong Kong yesterday after the scores were dead lock 7 all at Half time.

Forward Jason Dissanayaka and scrum half Srinath Sooriyabandara scored one try each for the Lankan’s while Sooriyabandara made the two conversions as well.

With this third consecutive lost and miserable performance in this tournament , Sri Lanka bows out of the World Men’s rugby 7’s series qualifiers in Hong Kong.
