The entry of Lord Jesus after 40 days of fasting was commemorated on Palm Sunday, April 9, with the procession of the Palms taking place along the Batticaloa – Trincomalee Highway, after which the blessed Palms were distributed at the Thandavenveli Methodist Church, Batticaloa.
