The journey of a shopping bag

28 May, 2017

I am a shopping bag. I was born in a factory and later was packed with my family. While we were being sent to the shops, I asked my Mum, “What’s the use of us, staying in this packet?” Mum replied, “We will be used for carrying things.” The shop keeper opened us from the packet. Then I was taken, as the shop keeper dropped a packet of milk so hard, I almost had to scream.

The woman took me and walked on the road. She took the milk and dropped me to the ground. I flew away, as the wind pushed me. I felt free! There came a school bus. The kids put their hands outside the window, and I crashed into their hands and they threw me back to the ground. Then I got smashed by a truck, I got dirty. It started raining. After the rain, I got cleaned. I saw the woman who had carried me earlier. This time she picked me up. She was holding my Mum. While she was holding us, my Mum and I started talking. I was so happy to be with my Mum again.
