My country’s name is Sri Lanka. It is an Island which is also known as the Pearl of the Indian Ocean. My country is small but beautiful. There are waterfalls, rivers and jungles. There are many ancient and historic places in my country. The capital of Sri Lanka is Sri Jayewardenapura Kotte. The business hub is Colombo. There are nine provinces and 25 districts in Sri Lanka. There are Buddhists, Christians, Muslims and Hindus. President is Maithripala Sirisena and the Prime Minister is Ranil Wickremesinghe. The national flower is the Blue Water Lily. The national tree is the Na tree. The national bird is the Jungle Fowl. The national animal is the squirrel. The national game is volleyball.
