Our school sports meet was held on the 19th of April. The Chief Guest was Paul Perera. He is the head of the Negombo South Internatinal Schools (NSIS) network. The sports meet was held in our school playground. The three Houses are Autumn, Spring and Summer. There were many events such as high jump, long jump, relay race and baton game. Most of the students took part in these events.
My House came second. The winners received medals and certificates from our school Principal and the Chief Guest. There was a special running event for parents and teachers. At the end of the sports meet there was a drill. I also took part. My friends and I enjoyed the sports meet very much. It was a very happy day.
