Princes, duchesses, kings and queens,
Treated with respect,
Courtesy and manners and all,
Even if on the red carpet they dared to fall.
Crowns, tiaras red and blue,
Fancy hats and hand bags too,
Colourful dresses, dark or light,
People will take photos with all their might.
Going for high tea with kings and queens,
Royal parties to which they can't wear jeans,
A hectic life with cameras all around,
Only in their comfy beds peace would be found.
The morning papers are dangerous too,
If the headlines are about you,
The way they talk and walk and sway,
Might be found fault with in every way.
No dancing around the place at all,
Prim and proper, straight and tall,
No running around on roads and streets,
Children must learn to control their feet.
