IFS Sri Lanka CEO/President Jayantha de Silva was awarded the ‘Chairman’s Award 2017’ at the SLASSCOM AGM 2017 in Colombo recently.
This one-time award was presented to Jayantha de Silva, in recognition and appreciation for his contribution towards the development of the IT industry of Sri Lanka and for the great opportunities he has created at IFS for the discerning IT experts in the country.
De Silva is a founder member of SLASSCOM and served as the Chairman in 2014/2015. SLASSCOM (Sri Lanka Association for Software and Services Companies) is the national chamber for IT/BPM industry in Sri Lanka. It acts as the catalyst of growth for the Sri Lankan IT and BPO industry by facilitating trade and business, propagation of education and employment, encouragement of research and innovation, and by supporting the creation of a progressive national policy framework.
