The Shangri-La Resort and Spa in Hambantota will be the latest venue for the 5th edition of HSBC’s Premier Golf Tournament scheduled to take place on 15 and 16 September 2017.
HSBC Premier Customers who are also seasoned golfers will get to tee off at one of Sri Lanka’s premier 18-hole championship golf course, overlooking the pristine southern coast; making it a memorable golfing experience.
The tournament held for the fifth year will tee off with a customary pre-event - ‘Chip a Way on the 18th’ scheduled to start at 6.30 pm on 15 September 2017, followed by the tournament on 16 September which will be played on a Stableford format.
The HSBC Premier Golf tournament is known to attract the top golfers in the country.
These Premier golfers will compete for the HSBC Premier Challenge Trophy and two overall category winners will get a chance to witness the Word Golf Championship – HSBC Champions tournament (WGC) to be held at the Sheshan International Golf course in Shanghai from 26-29 October 2017.
The lucky winners will each be awarded with a fully sponsored hospitality package to witness this international tournament that will see the world’s top 50 golfers such as Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day to name a few expected to compete in this action packed Champonships.
