A full day seminar for Art teachers who teach G.C.E O/L students, is to be held in December, at the Teachers’ Training Centre, Mannar Road, in Puttalam.
Around 32 Art teachers, who teach in Tamil medium schools that come under the Puttalam Educational Zone, will be given a chance to participate. The Teacher Instructor of the Puttalam Educational Zone for Art, and the well known Art facilitator M.M.Muhammath, who conducts seminars island wide, will be the facilitators at this seminar.
The seminar has been organized by the Puttalam Education Office to improve the performance of students who are due to sit the G.C.E O/L examination this year, and promote their achievement level in Art.
Participants will be advised to select G.C.E O/L students who got low marks at the first term examination, and the facilitator will explain how to train such students, to get high scores and perform well in the Art subject.
