The Musaeus College Green Day was held recently with the participation of the students of its Montessori Section in order to make the children aware of the environment from a young age.
An innovative play depicting the dangers to the environment by the felling of trees and the use of polythene products was held on this occasion and the children who watched the play with a keen interest, joined in cleaning activities, immediately thereafter.
Impressed by the voluntary activities of the children, a tree-planting campaign was held with the intention to further emphasize the green concept. The Motessori Section of Musaeus College plans to hold similar activities to protect the environment with the active participation of its young students.
