Summer Camp 2017 - reaching out to children

20 August, 2017

The Kadawatha branch of York International School is holding their Summer Camp 2017, organized and conducted by the Child Education Development (CED) in Sri Lanka in collaboration with World Without Borders (WWB) China, with a mutual aim of reaching out to children from all walks of life, especially, the ‘introverts’ and those who come from unsettled family backgrounds.

The program specifically aims at bringing out hidden talents that children possess, as well as sharpening their interactive and social skills.

The Summer Camp 2017 is being held at the Kadawatha York school premises from August 8 to 29. Registration and participation is free of charge.

CED is a Non-Profit organization that works for the betterment of the less privileged and vulnerable children and families in Sri Lanka.

‘We hope this Summer Camp has touched the hearts and lives of the many little children we interact with. We are also grateful to Hishantha Perera – Principal, York International School Kadawatha and WWB China who sent many volunteers, without whom it would not have been a success,’ said Nilanthi Gamage, Co - Founder / Chairperson of CED.
