The Buddhist way of life is continuing to affect the ways of thinking of certain sections of Americans.

This trend is highlighted by a donation to Bruce Allen – a devout “Dayaka” of the Indiana Buddhist Temple has created an elephant costume to dress the Tusker bearing the Relic Casket in the grand Parade this year.

Bruce Allenis a devout and dedicated American Buddhist of middle-age, who has acquired the Buddhist name of Dharmadasa –Server of Dhamma. Bruce Allen and his consort will be in Sri Lanka from September 1 to 10.

Indiana State is in the Northern border of the USA surrounded by other industrial States. Established on June 28, 2003, the Indiana Buddhist Temple was founded by Venerable Thalangama Devananda (Bhante Devananda) who was a Kotte Raja Maha Viharaya disciple.

Bhante always emphasizes that the Indiana Temple is open to people of all religious beliefs, cultures and backgrounds. This Buddhist Temple is a meditation learning center located in Fort Wayne vicinity in Indiana.

The Indiana Buddhist Temple is also a public meditation center and a spiritual place to find attendees peace, contentment, loving kindness and compassion.

The practices of this Center are based on Buddha’s Teachings and Dictum.
