China Merchant Port Holdings will declare its ‘Road Map for the Development of the Hambantota Port’ at a Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) seminar organized under the title of ‘South Asia’s Emerging Gateway City ’.
The seminar will be held on Friday, the 22nd of September, commencing 2.30 pm at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
During the seminar, Deputy General Manager, China Merchant Port Holdings Company Hang Tian will declare the firm’s overall plan for the Hambantota Port under the title ‘Road Map for Development of Hambantota Port.’ Managing Director, Agency for Development Strategies, Mangala P.B.Yapa and Chairman, Sri Lanka Ports Authority Dr. Parakrama Dissanayake will also speak at the seminar. Yapa will speak on ‘Hambantota Logistics and Industrial Zone - Vision for the Future’ and Dissanayake on ‘Hambantota Port: Development Strategy’.
