The Sri Lanka Under 16 Football team left the Island for Saudi Arabia yesterday (15th Sept) to take part in the qualifying round matches of AFC U16 Championship 2018.
Sri Lanka will play in the Group ‘A’ along with Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Bahrain. The qualifying round matches will be conducted from 16th to 24th September 2017 at the Al Riyadh Sports Club ground,Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
The Sri Lankan Team will be led by Vishalka Sulakshana from St. Sylvester’s College, Kandy.
