Trinity a force to be reckoned with this season

The 2017/18 inter-school cricket season promises to be another action packed cricket season for Trinity College, who started the season with an innings win over St. Servatius College, Matara a few days back .

This season the Trinity is to play eighteen games and they are September 29 - 30 Thurstan College

October 6 - 7 Bandaranayake MMV, 13 - 14 St. Sebastian’s, 20 - 21 St. Peter’s, 27 - 28 St. Benedict’s November 3 - 4 Dharmasoka, December 29 - 30 Nalanda,

January 2018, 5- 6 Moratuwa Vidyalaya (Asgiriya), 12th - 13th Wesley College ( Colombo), 19th - 20th St. Joseph’s College (Asgiriya), 26th- 27th St. Thomas’ Matara,

February 2 - 3rd Ananda College, 16 - 17 S.Thomas’ Mt. Lavinia, 23 - 24 Royal College,

March 09- 10 Big Match vs St. Anthony’s, 17 Limited over vs St. Anthony’s

This season Trinity College will be fielding a talented and an experienced side with several of last season’s players. Trinity is one of the oldest cricket playing schools in the country. It seems to be they are getting back to the old groove, thanks to the present principal Andrew Fowler-Watt who has given cricket his best support. The parents also give a big hand to develop the game. This is one school, which enjoys all facilities for sports, they have a well equipped indoor net, bowling machine and an international stadium at their disposal.
