Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters is one book you must read if you are a book enthusiast. Written by Rick Riordan and published by Puffin books, it is an awesome blend of myth and modernism. The main character in this book is a 13-year-old boy called Perseus Jackson or Percy Jackson for short. In this book Percy Jackson discovers his half brother, Tyson, who is a baby Cyclops.
But while getting used to his brother, Camp Half-Blood gets attacked by monsters as Thalia’s tree which protected the camp got poisoned by the enemy. So Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Grover Underwood along with Tyson go on a quest to seek and bring the golden fleece back to camp, as it can heal Thalia’s tree, thus saving Camp Half-Blood, amidst many dangers that include treacherous friends and hair-raising exploits. I like this book very much because I learned all about Greek mythology in a fun way in this novel written by Rick Riordan.
