The Minister of Sports Dayasiri Jayasekera has appointed a five member Selection Committee for Volleyball. The Selection Committee will effective for a period of one year. The chairman of the Committee will be Sarath Wijetunga. Wijetunga will have the services from four other members of the Committee appointed by Minister. They are N.D. Gunasena, L.C. Ekanayake, Ranjith Premaratne and C. W. Mahindaratne.
The appointment letters were handed over to the members at the Sports Ministry Auditorium last Thursday.
