Trials to select Boys and Girls under 12 teams for the South Asian Hope’s Table Tennis tournament which is to held in Maldives from December 2, 2017 was conducted at the S. Thomas’ College indoor stadium Mount Lavinia recently.
At the trials Rehan Dinel Senanayake of Ananda College beat all his opponents and was selected to represent Sri Lanka under 12 table tennis team .
Rehan is a key member of Ananda College table tennis team which won the inter school under 12 ‘A’ Division table tennis championship 2017. Six from each category will be called for the selection trials by the selection committee of TTASL. Prabath Nimesh was the co-ordinator at the trials from TTASL. The following players were selected to represent Sri Lanka at this Tournament
Boys: Oshan Senaratharachi, Rehan Dinel Senanayake
Girls: Navindi Senevirathne, Chamisha Thushadi.
