The special episode of the awards ceremony of International Metallic Silhouette Shooting Union (IMSSU) National Shooting Championship 2017, organized by the National Rifle Association of Sri Lanka, under the patronage of Ministry of Sports, concluded at the Negombo Rifle Club Firing Range Katana on 12 th November 2017, highlighted the greatest achievement of a young school boy shooter Rasindu Randira, a Grade -1 student of Royal College Colombo who won two Silver Medals in two events Light Rifle (Junior) and Silhouette Rifle (Junior) representing Scorpion Shooting Sports Club. His sports shooting skills exhibited beyond many other junior shooters in order to win two Silver Medals in a National Shooting competition was much-admired.
