Sri Pada is believed to have the foot print of Buddha by the Buddhists, the footprint of St. Thomas by Christians and the footprint of Adam by Muslims. Sri Pada is also known as Adam’s Peak. The Sri Pada season begins with the rising of the full moon on Uduvap Poya day in December and continues for three months until Vesak full moon Poya next year. Sri Pada is one of the highest mountains in Sri Lanka. It is in the central hills.
