Ceynergy Insurance Brokers took a step forward in a very positive and lucrative direction, with the soft launch held to re-introduce the Global Insurance Giant, Bupa Global Insurance to the local market.

The day which consisted of three consecutive mini events began with the presence of Angus Slater, Managing Director Hong Kong, International Markets, Lee Mathews, Head of Sales, for South East Asia & Australia and Richard Jackson, Head of Intermediary South East Asia at an interactive workshop followed by lunch at the newly constructed Shangri La Hotel, Colombo.

Their presence was indeed proof that Bupa Global is keen on developing Sri Lankan operations to greater heights indicating a brighter future for the insurance industry.

The workshop focused on the local team of Ceynergy agents and was conducted by Bupa with the intention of equipping these individuals with the high standards of being a part of Bupa Global. Bupa Global are the leading fully integrated insurer, solely focused on health for over70 years and support people across the healthcare continuum globally.

Their worldwide health business spans customers with global healthcare needs across around 190 countries.

Gracing the occasion the Managing Director of CIB, Mr. Chavinda Dharmawardana, had this to say, “We are indeed privileged to call ourselves core heirs to this global insurance giant, Bupa Global.

While our ties are deep rooted we believe that we are now ready to take our operations to the next level while providing cutting edge insurance policies to our loyal customers”.

This statement was followed with the Chief Operating Officer, Sajitha Sumanasekera addressing the gathering on stating that by Ceynergy initiating this event it has facilitated Sri Lanka’s top end customers to obtain international medical covers at best rates.

Also the training has benefited the high caliber sales people, who cater to top end customers’ expectations in terms of global health protection”.
