Proactively forecasting the future of transport in keeping with the recently implemented plans of the government, Eco Trans Lanka Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. has established itself as a sales and service company for electric motorcycles in Sri Lanka, a company spokesman said.

The 2017/18 blue and green budget focussed strongly on sustainability and moving to the use of renewable energy by the use of electric vehicles. The Ministry of Power and Energy has taken steps to establish and strengthen the infrastructure and resources that will directly assist the use of electric vehicle for commercial and personal use.

With a focus on innovation and quality, Eco Trans Lanka Holdings, the sole importer and distributor of Electra electric motorcycles, has introduced a range of economical electric powered products from peddle type bicycles to scooters and motorcycles, These bikes perform best in city running, yet have a travel range from 40 –100 km per charge.

The company believes that customers must experience the products to appreciate its quality and performance. Demo and test rides are scheduled at the showroom and service centre in Pelawatte, Battaramulla.
