The Certificate Awarding Ceremony and exhibition organized by the Zonal Education Office, Thirukkovil was held at the Thambiluvil Central College Auditorium recently.
Thirukkovil Zonal Education Office conducted special skills development training courses such as, Sewing (Dress Making), Information Technology and Beauty Culture for unemployed youths of the area. 
The function was presided over by the Thirukkovil Zonal Education Director Mrs. N. Pullanayagham. The exhibition was ceremonially declared open by the chief guest, the Eastern Province Education Ministry Secretary, H. E. M. W. G. Dissanayake. The exhibits were prepared by the trainees, and about 150 youths received certificates on the completion of their course.
