Lamentation

7 January, 2018

I was famous by cross tusker,
With partially blind giant,
Passed fifty years so peacefully,
Was target to cruel poachers?
Oh, God what is wrong?
What did I do to you?
Why did you give me,
such a bloody fate?
Did I harm or cruel to any humans or others?
Why did you become so cruel to me,
because greedy to my valuable tusk?
If you request me, will so generous to donate it.
Why did you take my life,
so cruelty, Oh, God?
Why did you make my life end,
so miserably?
People in Galgamuwa thought I was, an
Adorable property to mother Sri Lanka,
Do not give such a fate my other,
relative like me helpless?
My death must be a message to all
the tuskers in this country.
You too may have a bloody curse,
like me, be careful.
