A pooja was conducted last week by the Sri Lanka Insurance Hindu Association to mark Maha Shivarathri which was held in honour of Lord Shiva.
The pooja, which was organized for the second consecutive year, was conducted by Mohan Sharma Gurukkal from the Nawagampura Amman Kovil.
A large number of employees representing all communities took part in the event.
The pooja was conducted to bless SLI and its staff on its 56th anniversary of the organization.
