Aitken Spence Travels ‘A’ regained the Travel Trade Sports Club Archery Championship title, at the 04th edition 2018, held on last Thursday Colombo Archery School, CR&FC, Longdon Place. For the for tourth time, Serendib Leisure Hotels ‘A’ had to be content with the Silver while Aitken Spence Travels ‘A’ who won the first title in 2016 and they won bronze in 2015 and 2017.
Twenty three teams from ten member firms participated which was sponsored by Yenesha Travels (Pvt) Ltd., Seeduwa for the fourth uccessive year.
In the preliminary round, all 23 teams, consisting three archers (male & female), shot 04 arrows each , aiming at a maximum team score of 120 points. At the completion of the preliminary round, the following 8 top scoring teams advanced to the final round. Special Awards: Sameera Gunatillake from Aitken Spence Travels ‘A’ was picked as the Best Male Archer & Dulanjali Fernando from Green Holiday Centre ‘C’ was picked as Best Female Archer.
