The life cycle of a butterfly is truly amazing. Butterflies have four stages – the egg, the caterpillar, the cocoon and the adult butterfly. Each of the four stages is very unique to individual species of butterflies. There are more than a thousand types of butterflies in the world. And each butterfly has very unique colours which brings beauty to the environment.
