KOOMBIYO is the first Sri Lankan video game based on a tv - series. The Video game is being developed by KODEX in association with Out Smart Hub and is scheduled to be released soon.
The content of this video game is based on the KOOMBIYO tv series aired through ITN and other fictional events. The game is categorized as a 3rd person shooter open world game and is ‘E’ rated.
KOOMBIYO the game consists a free world where the player can wonder around many events consisting of shooting levels using high grade weapons brain teasers and many more action events which the Sri Lankan video game players demand.
The game is being developed under the guidance of Lasantha Wickramasinghe, Roshan Milinda and Rob Willcox, who are a helpful hand in promoting and expanding new areas of Sri Lankan IT and IoT industry.
Kodex is a corporation, established on August 20, 2014 according to an idea of it’s founders while they were learning basics of computing. On August 20, 2014 it came to a reality with the initialization of Kodex’s first project which is a Social network which satisfies the requirements of modern social network users. Accordingly Kodex is a company which provides all kinds of computer and mobile application solutions and web solutions while developing, designing, manufacturing and marketing communication and electronic devices (IoT) and related accessories.
The company believes in what it feels, freedom of thinking and creativity are the other key aspects it believes in its journey towards success. The Kodex team consists of a team of software engineering undergraduates of Java Institute, Kandy branch.
