French Fest2 018: The world’s greatest French dinner

From March 21, the globally appreciated French cuisine will dazzle diners at 3,000 restaurants across five Continents. In Sri Lanka, five selected venues - The Kingsbury, Galle Face Hotel, Ceylon Café, Waters Edge and Movenpick Hotel have come forward to showcase their expertise in French cuisine. At an event hosted at the French Ambassador’s residence, chefs Kithsiri de Silva (Executive chef –Kingsbury), Buddhika Samarasekera (Waters Edge), Sugath Vithanage (Galle Face Hotel), Dinesh Perera (Movenpick Hotel) and Mikael Alexis (Ceylon Café) made presentations of their stellar menus which will be served at their restaurants. The French Ambassador in Sri Lanka, Jean-Marin Schuh speaking at the event said, “The good France event unites chefs from all horizons of the world, with one shared common goal: celebrating the excellence and creativity of French gastronomy”.
