My favourite book is Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The author of this magical book is J.K. Rowling. It was first published in Great Britain by Bloomsbury in 1997. The main character in the book is Harry Potter who happens to be a wizard. His parents were murdered by an evil wizard called Voldemort. On this same day, Voldemort also tried to kill Harry. But somehow his powers broke when he tried to kill Harry. So Harry was safe. Harry was sent to live with his aunt and uncle who treat him badly. Meanwhile, Harry starts to get letters from someone saying that he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Next, an incredible adventure begins. This book is enchanting, spell-binding and it has the ability to keep the reader engrossed until the end.
