Sri Lankan golfing boy for Queen’s baton

A Sri Lankan boy, Yevin Samararatne resident in Australia will carry the Queen’s baton at the Commonwealth Games scheduled to be worked off in Brisbane on April 4.

Samararatne, 14, has been living in Australia since 2005 and was adjudged as the Best Sportsman of the Year for his school in 2015. He has excelled in golf and contested several tournaments winning many trophies.
