Second Prize : Five on Kirrin Island Again

29 April, 2018

Among the books I have read, Five on Kirrin Island Again of the Famous Five series is one of my favourites. It is written by the famous British author Enid Blyton. It was first published in 1947 by Hodder & Stoughton.

The story is about four children – George, Dick, Anne, Julian and their dog Timmy who are always in search of an adventure. Kirrin Island is a beautiful place and it belongs to George’s parents. George is a girl and her real name is Georgiana, but she doesn’t like that name because she wants to be a boy. In this book, the five are on an adventure in Kirrin Island. I like this book because it tells us that having adventures is really fun.
