The Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy!
Earlier this morning, an official notice was placed on an easel in front of Buckingham Palace saying that the Duchess of Cambridge had given birth to a baby boy.
The baby weighed 8lbs 7oz and Kensington Palace has said: “Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
“The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.”
The baby is fifth in line to the throne – behind Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte – and is now the Queen’s sixth great-grandchild.
