St. Peter’s College will meet S. Thomas’ College for the Archibald Pereira trophy only after the completion of the inter school League rugby championship the second of which commences next week, a team official told the Sunday Observer.
The two schools were expected to play the match this weekend. In the second round of the League the Peterites will meet Trinity College in Kandy on May 12, Kingswood College on May 18 (Friday) at Havelock Park, St. Joseph’s College on May 26 at a venue yet to be decided (probably Longden Place) and Royal College on June 2 at the Royal Sports Complex.
They have yet to decide on the date and venue for the traditional match against S. Thomas’.
