Sachin secures firm lead as voting nears end

Sachin Silva continues to lead in the Observer-Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer of the Year voting contest which is drawing close to a finish. Silva has 25,347 votes which puts him streets ahead of his closest rival Shehan Fernando from St. Benedict’s College while Isipathana College’s Sanjula Abeywickrema is in the third slot folowed by Dellon Peiris in the fourth slot.
