S.Thomas’ College Bandarawela with a history of 76 years is one of the esteemed educational institutes in the island and the brother school of S.Thomas’ College, Mt.Lavinia.
The cadet band will celebrate its 20 years with a street parade and a band show by the Old Band Cadets Association (OBCA), under the title “Echoes of the Bluse’18”, on June 16 in Bandarawela.
The OBCA was founded by the Headmaster Rev.Fr. Christopher Balraj and this show is the maiden project of the OBCA, after its inauguration in 2017.
Ten schools from Bandarawela, Badulla and Kandy and old bandsmen are expected to participate at the event.
The founders of the cadet band and others who put their hearts and souls will be felicitated. Performance by the invited bands, by the Old Boys and the guest artists will make the event a glamorous one.
