AGS comes forward to clean Galle Face Green

The Science Club of Asian Grammar School (AGS), Gothatuwa New Town is currently on an environment day project at the Galle Face Green. They commenced the project on June 2, 2018 to mark the World Environment Day, which falls on June 5, 2018.

The students, parents and teachers clean the Galle Face Green on Saturdays and Sundays for a month and also educate the public who visit there. They will do it on all eight Saturdays and Sundays of June.

“Abans is assisting us by collecting the plastic bottles which we collect,” said Principal and Managing Directress of AGS, Thushari Koralage. AGS is a reputed school following the local curriculum in English medium with a student population over 1700 and conduct classes from the Play Group to the Advanced Level.
