The Old Anandians 70-75 Group has organised, for the 12th consecutive year, the appreciation and felicitation ceremony, – “Nena Harasara 2017”, to appreciate the young Anandians who had excelled at the G.C.E. A/L Examination in 2017 and also to felicitate the tutorial staff for their untiring support in this endeavour.
The event will be held on June 20 at the Kularatne Hall from 7.30 a.m., with the patronage of Principal, Management Committee and the old Anandians 70-75 group.
During 2017, altogether 140 students had obtained Distinctions in all three subjects, making it the highest percentage in the island.
The total includes 40 students from Mathematics stream, 23 students from Bio stream, 68 students from Commerce stream, 8 students from Arts stream and one from the Technology stream.
