Locally-developed Eco Balm launches range of products

Eco Balm, a locally-developed range of balm products manufactured by Eco Ceylon Global (Pvt) Ltd, was launched into the Sri Lankan market at an event held in Colombo last week.

The product range is set to be distributed at selected outlets within the suburbs of Colombo prior to expanding island-wide during the next few months.

“Eco Ceylon Global aims to build a globally-recognised brand with a local flavour while also catering to the international market. The company has outlined plans for Eco Balm to capture a 25% market share in Sri Lanka by the first half of next year,” said Managing Director, Eco Ceylon Global (Pvt) Ltd., Yamuna Kaliyadasa.

“To do so, our company works towards understanding customer needs and designing products that are innovative and differentiated in the market while encouraging consumers to adjust to using green-focused products,” she said.

“As a local manufacturing company, we are proud to introduce our Eco Balm range of products. True to our product promise ‘It Works, Wherever It Hurts’ we have understood the consumers are looking at a reliable and safe product which would give them instant relief from day to day ailments caused,” said CEO of Eco Ceylon Global, Manoj Chathuranga.

Eco Balm is manufactured using a combination of some of Sri Lanka’s heritage herbs that are intrinsic to the country. It has been developed using ingredients such as menthol, camphor, clove, cajuput, peppermint and eucalyptus oils, all of which have been infused to produce a high-quality product.

Through extensive research, Eco Balm has been specially-designed to relieve nerve endings by giving off a double effect through a cooling and heating sensation guaranteeing to heal the affected areas swiftly.

The product has been developed with a refreshing aroma producing outstanding results according to the company research team.

The range of products introduced to the market include Eco Balm Red, Eco Balm White, Eco Balm Oil and a Mosquito Repellent Spray which are targeted at the well being of all Sri Lankans. Eco Balm Red is a strong, warm and comforting ointment.
