King Ravana lived in Sri Lanka nearly 5000 years ago. In the epic Ramayanaya, Ravana had abducted Rama’s wife Sita. Ravana rode a vehicle called ‘Dandu Monara’ which resembles the shape of a peacock. Ravana built a great civilization and was a great king of ancient Sri Lanka.
