IFC, NDB partner to grow financial inclusion in Sri Lanka

IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has extended its long term partnership with NDB to support the Bank’s transition and growth goals, as part of the existing T20 transformation program. Under this program, IFC will provide global best practices and knowledge to improve the Bank’s operational efficiencies enabling the Bank to expand its reach. This program will aim to increase financial inclusion in the country with a special focus on financing for women.

The signing of the agreement was held at NDB Head Office with the patronage of the Bank’s Director/Group CEO Dimantha Seneviratne, Country Manager IFC Sri Lanka and the Maldives Amena Arif and senior officials from the Bank and IFC.
