India and Sri Lanka draw U-19 match

The touring Indian Under 19 cricket team drew their two-day practice match against a Sri Lanka Under 19 Board XI at the NCC ground yesterday.

After Sri Lanka had occupied the crease for the entire first day to score 253-7, it was India’s turn to bat out the entire second day hitting an impressive total of 384-7 of which there were three half-centurions. Sri Lanka and India will play a series of two Under 19 four-day Tests beginning at the NCC on July 17.
