The World Ice Cream Day was celebrated in sweet style with an Ice Cream Challenge conducted by Hilton Colombo at their Cafe Kai on Sunday (22).
The Ice Cream Challenge was organized in two categories, Kids Challenge and Adults Challenge. It was an interesting and fun filled event for the kids and adults who were there in their numbers.
The participants for the main Challenge was selected by a draw and five selected kids were given five scoops of Ice Cream to eat in the given time and the adults were selected in eight couples to eat 25 scoops in eight minutes.
The winner of the Kids Challenge, Kiran, received his prize from Director Cecato Colombo, Alessandra Rocchi and the Runner-up Kylesh received his prize from Food and Beverages Manager Hilton Colombo, Kapila Mohotti. The Adults segment winners M. H. Nazir and Biru Mahesh completed eating their scoops in five minutes and 20 seconds.
